The Role: 

  • The accounts support team within Liverpool City Council’s Neighbourhoods and Housing directorate is growing and we are currently looking to recruit an additional Accounts Officer to join us and support the current team manager and colleagues across the directorate
  • The Accounts Officer role will support the team manager and colleagues in undertaking a wide range of financial procedures, including placing orders, invoicing, preparation of direct debit and  BACS payments, recording income, issuing receipts and dealing with supplier issues
  • For the role of the Accounts Officer we are looking for a vibrant, passionate candidate who has excellent finance and accounts skills, who is willing to work as part of a team and also work well on their own
