The Role:
- This role of Business Support Officer is working within the Section 19 Team to ensure that the local authority is meeting its statutory duty for children who are unable to access education due to exclusion, health needs or other reasons
- You will play an essential and valued role within a fast paced and interesting area of work, in which you are able to use your knowledge and skills to contribute to the development of processes and procedures with regards to the teams areas of responsibility
- The role requires IT skills to be utilised on a daily basis. Other aspects of the role include maintaining pupil records and team databases, distributing correspondence and being a first point of contact for general enquiries
- You will be provided opportunities to develop your skills in areas such a data management, procurement, raising invoices and budget monitoring
- You will demonstrate great organisation skills, be able to manage a variety of tasks and prioritise areas of work
