Salary: £34,314 - £38,626

Location: Ray Hurst Centre, Pendine Close, Liverpool, L6 3BH

The Role: 

  • As Business Support Team Manager, you will have overall responsibility for the management of all Business Support staff, systems and planning in support of the Quality Assurance and Safeguarding Unit
  • You will be responsible for the management and authorisation of financial systems, cash/invoicing for the service
  • You will co-ordinate the provision of arranging all child protection conferences and children looked after supporting the Child Protection Officers and Independent Reviewing Officers
  • As Business Support Team Manager, you will manage all conference allocations, harmful practice meetings, and SUDIC meetings, coordinating the conferences and tracking all the work within case conferences and children looked after
  • You will manage the ordering of all equipment and ICT for the service
  • Our Business Support Team Managers are responsible for all recruitment and all HR related processes, including disciplinary or grievance matters for Business Support
  • You will be an exceptional people manager with strong communication and relationship skills, responsible for delivering effective supervision, training and development of all Business Support staff in your service areas
  • You will drive forward practice improvement and ensure consistent high quality service delivery across the team
