The role:

  • The Finance Support Officer is based within our Fostering and Adoption Service and plays a crucial role in the smooth delivery operation of processing all SGO, Adoption and Interim Care payments efficiently
  • As a Finance Support Officer, you will be expected to regularly provide budgetary statistical information and have a track record in cash handling and using financial payment systems
  • You will need strong communication skills and confidence to liaise with a range of service users, partners and agencies as well as providing full support to the social worker team
  • Our Finance Support Officers need strong business support skills to be able to complete a wide variety of administration skills.  You will need to have previous experience of IT and Finance systems, Office 365, MS Teams, etc.
