The Role:
- We have a fantastic opportunity for you to join the High Needs Team at Liverpool City Council covering maternity leave on a fixed term contract for approximately 10 months
- We are looking for an individual who possess knowledge and experience of key legislation, policy and funding requirements in relation to supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities
- You will have a high level of literacy and numeracy skills and the ability to interpret reports and calculate the cost of provision using high standards of accuracy
- Be responsible for the monitoring, evaluation, and quality assurance of Top Up funding to ensure the delivery of value for money services for Liverpool residents
- Contribute to the collection and accurate recording of pupil data and information to support the allocation of High Needs Funding
- Ensure that the process for ‘Top-Up’ funding is understood by settings and any other relevant multi-agency professionals
- Deal with sensitive, contentious, and complex queries, ensuring the highest quality standards whilst maintaining confidentiality
- Work closely with Education colleagues in responding to requests for additional support from settings including the monitoring and reviewing of funding
