Job title: ICT Programme Manager

The role: 

As a Programme Manager, you will translate client business strategy and requirements into a coordinated work break down structure from which a related portfolio of projects is crafted. This includes the creation of bespoke solutions, which may include the integration of leading or emerging technologies and ensuring the delivery of resultant business benefits.

The Programme Manager will manage all risks and issues, resources and project standards to ensure the successful delivery of a range of ICT programmes.

Key responsibilities:

  • As an ICT Programme Manager you will manage complex technology change programmes which deliver measurable business benefits to the organisation
  • Our ICT Programme Managers work closely with customers, providing leadership, coordination, and direction to multi-disciplinary delivery teams
  • The post holder will manage and control programme budgets (approx. £250k to £5 million) and work with Commercial Procurement and Finance to ensure expenditure is monitored and reported on as required

The successful candidate should have:  

  • Good knowledge of Local Government Services
  • Detailed understanding of project and programme management frameworks such PRINCE2 and Managing Successful Programmes (MSP)
  • Considerable drive and passion to make a difference
  • Excellent mentorship skills backed up by strong technical experience
