The Role

The Liverpool Safeguarding Children Partnership Board provide strategic leadership, direction and governance for the delivery of statutory and local requirements for the multi-agency safeguarding arrangements in Liverpool through equal and joint responsibility. https://liverpoolscp.org.uk/scp/about-us 

  • The Quality Assurance Lead within Liverpool Safeguarding Children’s Partnership has the key responsibility to develop, implement and deliver single and multi-agency audit and quality assurance activity, to establish a culture of continuous improvement and ensuring a reflective approach for all individuals and services, in order to improve practice and outcomes for Liverpool’s children, young people and families.
  • The role involves reporting QA findings and embedding recommendations, as well as developing achievable audit tools, QA plans within realistic timescales. The role leads on effectively translating all audit findings into learning and development programmes across all services, so there is an embedded organisational wide culture that practice standards are accurately measured and continuously improved, whilst ensuring that the voice of the child/young person is evident and positive outcomes are achieved.
  • You will be a qualified and registered social worker with managerial and case-auditing experience in a statutory setting.  
  • You will have extensive knowledge and understanding of children’s relevant legislation and be confident in analysing information, risk assessing and quality assuring assessments, care plans and court directed work.
