The role: 

This is an exciting time to join the Physical Activity and Sport (PAS) Development Team. The city has just adopted the Liverpool Active City Strategy 2024-2034 and is aiming for Liverpool to be the most active major city by 2040. The Physical Activity and Sport Development Officer is seen as an integral part of the team by delivering those key outcomes.   • As a PAS Development Officer, you will work with a fantastic and diverse network of stakeholders 
  • As a PAS Development Officer, you will take a place-based approach to working and be led by the needs of the community
  • As a PAS Development Officer, you will support delivery of small community-led initiatives aimed at supporting people with the most barriers to be physically active. This will include, but not be limited to, sports development
  • As a PAS Development Officer, you will be comfortable operating in fast pace multi-agency environments which achieves the best outcomes for the people of Liverpool 
  • As a PAS Development Officer, you will have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to support and motivate the people you engage with

This role is fixed term for 6 months for the purpose of supporting the implementation of the Liverpool Active City Strategy.
