We are seeking outstanding procurement professionals in the following areas:
- Adults & Childrens Social Care
- Neighbourhoods & City Development
- Corporate (Including Culture & ICT)
Whilst experience of supporting those areas in a procurement role would be great, above all else we are looking for high quality individuals with a desire to make a difference.
What will I be doing?
- Providing a business partner approach to support the development and delivery of a strategic sourcing pipeline for defined category areas
- Devising appropriate procurement strategies
- Engaging with stakeholders at all levels to support the delivery of projects on time and within defined budgets
- Providing comprehensive, relevant and high value insight into all procurement and commercial aspects for specific category areas
Leading the development of high value relationships with suppliers to LCC enabling the council to maximise the value it extracts from its commercial partnerships
