The Role:

  • As the Procurement Buying Service Manager you will be leading a small procurement team with the aim of Identifying and establishing relationships with suppliers or vendors who can provide the required goods or services for low-value procurements.
  • Procurement Buying Service Manager will be maintaining cost-effectiveness while maintaining quality standards.
  • In the role as a Procurement Buying Service Manager, you’ll be ensuring that all procurement activities comply with relevant legal frameworks, procurement strategy, relevant policy and Liverpool City Council Contract Standing Orders.
  • Our Procurement Buying Service Manager will be assessing and mitigating risks associated with low-value procurements.
  • Within the role of Procurement Buying Service Manager  you will be responsible for identifying opportunities to streamline and improve the efficiency of the procurement process for lower value purchases.
  • Procurement Buying Service Manager are responsible for supporting the development of local supply chains including SME’s and VCSE sector.
