The Role:
- The ideal candidate will be a strong team player, with excellent relationship management skills, and a clear track record of managing programmes of complex, high value projects within specified time, cost and quality, including financial management, business case processes and performance reporting
- You may not have previously worked in the public sector or in regeneration, and we welcome applications from a variety of backgrounds, however, you will have experience of partnership working with large and complex organisations and be confident in managing political, social and commercial project sensitivities
- You will have the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team, to plan, manage and secure the effective implementation of regeneration projects through best-in-class programme management, maximising the benefits of digital transformation
- You will be resilient, comfortable with scrutiny, change, complexity and uncertainty and will be able to navigate and manage different stakeholder needs and multiple demands in a fast-paced environment. You should have excellent IT skills and the ability to collect, collate and analyse evidence and present programme performance to governance boards
- You will demonstrate a commitment and enthusiasm to making a difference for residents and you will role model our values and be an ambassador for the Council
