Adult Access is the front door of Adult Social Care in Liverpool. Adult Access is a dynamic service that enables better outcomes for people, through strength based approach. In Adult Access we work with all stakeholders to provide information, advice and guidance through person centred working to enable people to regain and maintain dependence.

We are seeking an experienced Service Manager to continue to drive effective service delivery, outcomes and promote wellbeing of people.  

The Role

  • Leading and ensuring effective service delivery, building on relationships with internal and external partners to enable better outcomes for people
  • Be responsible for the operational leaderships and management, and for the quality of care and support delivered
  • Embedding strength-based practice and Care Act 2014 duties to prevent, reduce, and delay needs with every contact
  • Provide leadership to all social care and allied health professional staff, working to high professional and managerial standards and enabling staff and teams to function effectively, to their greatest potential and in line with local priorities and the City Plan
  • Provide effective reablement and strength-based services that focus on improving the outcomes of people and optimising the value of care
  • Continue to develop the service area, with a focus on budget sustainability, management and delivering highly performing services
