The Role:
Are you a dynamic leader with a passion for driving excellence in children's social care?
- We are looking for an experienced Service Manager to join our Children and Young People's Service. The post holder should have a proven track record on quality assurance and service improvement
- As a Service Manager, you will know how to obtain and maintain high level performance. This is a unique opportunity to shape and lead high-performing teams, embed a culture of continuous improvement and ensure the highest standards of safeguarding and care for children and families
- As a Service Manager in the Safeguarding & Quality Assurance Unit, and as an inspirational, driven and inclusive manager, you will lead the Quality Assurance Leads, LADO, and Child Protection Chairs. The role is based within the Practice Improvement and Development Directorate of Children’s Services
- You will work alongside another experienced Service Manager leading the Independent Reviewing Officers and Fostering Independent Reviewing Officer and will report directly to the Head of Quality Assurance and Improvement
- If you are committed to delivering outstanding consistent outcomes for children, young people and their families and bring strategic insight and operational expertise, then we want to hear from you
This post is subject to an Enhanced Disclosure Application to the Disclosure and Barring Service and up to date registration with Social Work England as a qualified Social Worker.
