The role

  • You will be a qualified, experienced and SWE registered social worker with experience within Children’s Social Care, having already completed your ASYE.
  • We are currently recruiting social workers to join us across our Fostering Service either within Families and Friends, Recruitment and Assessment or Support and Supervision.
  • As a social worker, you will bring your knowledge and expertise to the role to work to make effective safe decisions and advise, supervise and support our carers, to ensure we offer the best stable placements for our children and young people.
  • You the Social Worker will ensure quality standards are maintained and champion good practice to reduce risks, building on strengths through effective internal and external communication and excel in purposeful effective partnership working.
  • We are looking for enthusiastic and dedicated practitioners who are passionate about Fostering, who consider themselves organised and resilient and can effectively balance the demands of managing a diverse, complex and varied caseload with a child centered approach. The team has a strong and supportive permanent management structure.
