The Role:

  • As the Cook within the children's residential home you will be required to plan, prepare & cook a variety of meals to meet the dietary needs of children and young people
  • As the Cook you will be working alongside residential workers and the management team where you will be required to provide effective and efficient administrative support
  • As the Cook in the children's home you must be comfortable working in environment with children and young people
  • Our cook will be required to maintain high cleanliness and safety standards in the kitchen
  • As part of your role as the cook you will be required to purchase food supplies for the home

As this is a part time role the salary, any additional allowanced (determined by the rota) and annual leave will all be pro rata. Working days will be discussed at interview.
