Job title: Finance, Compliance and Operations Officer

Salary: £28,770 to £33,024

Location: Home / Business First L24 9HJ / Cunard L3 1AH

MSP is one of 43 Active Partnerships across England working strategically to embed movement, physical activity and sport as a way of improving people’s lives across the Liverpool City Region with an equal, diverse and inclusive approach. Whilst MSP are hosted by Liverpool City Council our remit covers all six boroughs across our region.

We have permanent office space in Business First in Speke, occasional meetings in the Cunard Building in the city centre, regular team and co-working days in venues across the region all blended with homeworking. MSP are committed to flexible working, we trust you to work in a way that suits you and that enables you to be your most productive and happy.

You’ll need to be a dynamic person with a positive ethos, committed to providing excellent service. You will work as part of a small team and be required to use your own initiative with minimal supervision.

The Role: 

  • Raising purchase orders
  • Processing invoices
  • Reconciling budgets
  • Preparing grant funding compliance
  • Planning, organising and coordinating meetings (online and face to face) including preparing agendas, distributing papers, taking and distributing minutes
  • Providing administrative support for the team 
  • Providing support in the management of office accommodation and supplies
