The Role:

  • We are looking for an exceptional experienced senior manager to provide strategic and effective visible leadership and guidance for a range of statutory children’s social care services and youth offending services, including the Youth Justice Management Board, ensuring that safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children is paramount
  • Head of Adolescents, Complex Safeguarding and Edge of Care is responsible for the development, implementation and monitoring of an annual business plan by ensuring effective performance management, including identification of risk and capacity issues across the held portfolio of services
  • In your role as Head of Adolescents, Complex Safeguarding and Edge of Care  you will take full lead responsibility for the development, implementation of specific projects within Children’s Social Care and Youth Offending Services in line with strategic priorities, managing all communication and risk issues
  • Head of Adolescents, Complex Safeguarding and Edge of Care has strategic responsibility in the development of an effective partnership framework to support those exposed to complex safeguarding, promoting effective joint working and information sharing
  • As the Head of Adolescents, Complex Safeguarding and Edge of Care you have responsibility for a range of Edge of Care services including the Family Group Conference service, supporting children and young people to remain living with their families where safe to do so
  • You will have the drive and passion to deliver excellent services and continuously improve practice quality and standards, to ensure a positive difference and brighter future for our children and young people and their families/carers.
