The Role: 

  • Liverpool City Council are looking to recruit a Senior Business Support Officer to join the Parklands Business Support Team, Children and Young People's Services.
  • The successful post holder will be required to support the Children in care and Care Leavers Services in providing high quality business support to social workers in the delivery of statutory responsibilities.
  • You will be responsible for the end-to-end administration of weekly panel meetings. This will involve liaising with social workers, team managers and panel members via verbal and electronic correspondence, collating paperwork and agendas. You will be required to complete detailed minute taking and record decision making on electronic systems
  • You will also be responsible for assisting with the processing and recording of financial payments in addition to oversight of Strength and difficulties questionnaires and Mind of My Own app for children and young people.
  • You will be a dynamic person with a positive ethos and a commitment to supporting children and young people. You will work well in a team and under your own initiative with the ability to prioritise a busy workload

This role is fixed term for 12 months to support  the completion of strengths and difficulties questionnaire (SDG) in order to improve performance in this area of practice.
