Job title: Social Worker/Case Manager – Targeted Services for Children and Young People

The role: 

We are looking to recruit a number of Social Workers/Case Managers within our Youth Justice Teams, which are part of the Targeted Services for Children and Young People Service. 

Our Social Workers and Case Managers are integral to the services we provide and we are looking for individuals who want to make a real difference to vulnerable children, young people, and their families. 

Applications are welcomed from individuals who hold a Diploma in Probation Studies and/or Social Workers who are professionally registered with Social Work England. 

Key responsibilities:

  • As a Social Worker/Case Manager, you will have extensive experience of working directly with vulnerable children/young people in circumstances involving a high degree of risk and vulnerability
  • The service works with young people and their families where support and intervention is required, due to circumstances such as involvement in anti-social behaviour, criminality and/or criminal exploitation
  • The role will involve the development, delivery, and co-ordination of a range of individualised services and programmes for young people, as well as working directly with children/young people with complex safeguarding requirements. This will also include the preparation of Pre-Sentence Reports
